During our lessons we have been gradually forming ideas for our final outcome. We began brainstorming different ideas. We suggested psychological thrillers from the beginning and worked around that, we had ideas of shooting someone in a dark room with rocking chairs, someone writing, someone sitting in a rough area and then including heavy editing. However, once we had spoken to our teacher, done further research and watched other filming openings we realised that it was better to have a simple opening, with not too much happening to keep the audience attention in specific areas rather than confusing the audience.
