Health and Safety tutorial

During the camera tutorial, we were introduced to the JVC G4-HM100E camcorder which record onto solid state SDHC cards (shown in the photo above)

- We were taken through the various different features of the camcorder and how to access the different settings (Manual or automatic settings)

- We were talked through the different regulations and expectations of the equipment;

The camcorder is stored carefully within a bag that comes with it and should be kept in there when it is not in use to prevent damage. The camcorder must be kept away from rain and umbrellas are provided for filming in the rain if it is needed. Also, the camera bag should be kept with us at all times as the whole group is responsible for the equipment.
- The cameras must be returned on time in order for other groups to use them.

- Then watched a demonstration of the camcorder in use and we were able to have a go and familiarize ourselves with the different buttons, the tripod and the memory cards.
